FROM ANOTHER SIDE OF ME.HERE IS THE STORY

TSL024 WRITING
Lecturer

I bet Miss Farah's middle name is dedicated as she is really a one. Having consultations with us, the students until late at night already shows how determined she is in her work. She would give comments on every student of their mistakes and correct them right away. One thing that I still wonder is when does she get to rest? Sometimes, she would post the recorded lecture videos at three to four in the morning. Making it more shocking is the fact she got classes early the next day. She makes sure that we really understand everything and if somebody asks her about a topic, she would surely answer that question and explain it all over again. Her dedication towards her work inspires me to really work hard for writing subject.
Notes

Taking notes for writing is one of the methods that can really be helpful when you are doing exercise and to make sure you remember how to cite properly. For every exercise done by me, these notes really drive me to think wisely about doing any mistakes. Topics such as essay structure, citation, and process essay are some from the list that you really have to pay close attention to. Do notes more and it won't cause you problems in the future for not understanding the learning which only going to take your time to study them back.
ODL Experiences

Honestly speaking, writing classes are the most tiring lectures among other subjects. Writing really pushes us to put 100% focus to make sure we understand the lesson fully. Imagine, even the last syllabus for writing took us a few weeks to finish it just because it was quite complicated. Having to consult for our opinion-based essay outline through the virtual meeting was exhausting and I know Miss Farah felt it more than us. When you stare at your computer for too long, you will start having headaches and it can bother your learning process. Other than that, I too become more hesitant about asking questions in the lecture as I was afraid that it would interrupt the lesson and leading me to just stay silent. Thankfully, on the end of every class and topic, Miss Farah would open for any questions to make sure no one is left out.
